The World Crisis or Polycrisis is often presented as a struggle over Western economic power. Events of the last few weeks have shown how much the world economy is shifting. For example, BRICS nations are now a larger share of the world economy than G7 nations. The polycrisis, however, has consequences for the idea of the economy that reverberate in all other dimensions of the crisis. One consequence of the polycrisis is to revise ideas of the world economy
