As an aging hippy, that hates the current pressure in the West to comfort, it was a treat to be reminded of those heady days of the freedom enabled by the work of the "two Vaclavs" as we called them in Exeter. We were very aware then of what was going on there from reprints of news in the student paper. Exeter was a centre of the "Underground" and rejection of various ideas from the elite, from foxhunting to Vietnam. Unfortunately, it ended in commercialism,ie Richard Branston and the likes. The idealists sold out and either lived off the state or became small businessmen. I was criticised by other for working though the 60s, 70s and on, but never sold out my ideals and although we all grow, otherwise why listen to the Burning Archive, I still have that desire expressed in " make love, not war" and having respect for difference, diversity in peoples and culture. Thank you for all you do, Jeff.
